Lost or Damaged Items

Patrons must pay full replacement cost plus $2.00 processing fee. No fines will be charged in addition to these fees.

Uncataloged adult paperbacks have a lost or damaged charge of $.50. All magazines have a lost or damaged charge of $5.00. 

When a hardcover book can be rebound to repair the damage, the patron must pay the rebinding cost plus a $2.00 processing fee.

If the patron purchases a replacement copy, the $2.00 processing fee is still assessed. Please note: Any replacement copies for lost items must be cleared by a staff member at the circulation desk before purchase.

These rules apply to both adult and children’s collections.
